Yuma to Quartzite and back

We are back in Yuma after spending 5 days in Quartzite with our 2007 fulltime classmates for our 5 year reunion of this wonderful lifestyle. It turned out to be around 20 rigs and somewhere around 40 people. The weather was good and the friendship great we all ate too much (great food) drank too much (adult beverages) and laughed so much (sides hurt). its amazing the bond RV folks create from being total strangers to lifelong friendships. It was good to see folks we haven't seen in years along with folks we see often in our travels. We raised over $1600.00 from a auction to pot lucks for the Escapees Care in Livingston TX a non profit org that helps Escapees members a place to stay while recovering from illness and surgery its purely suported by donations and in 5years our class has contributed over $4000.00 not to bad for a rag tag bunch of vagabond's We have also lost some on the way. Taken away so quickly from us and we miss all of them. We had a candle light memorial service and remembrance. Sad but part of life, well folks Ill close for now and hope all of you get to live your dreams as we do. Safe travels dear friends no matter were your wheels take. you.
